The Pins, known to many of you as The Twelve Pins / Na Beanna Beola
was first established in the early 1800’s in this beautiful village of Bearna on this
very site. There have been many a story told here and many the subject matter
created here for a story to be told.
One story has it that the old building had a curse placed upon it and that the
proprietor of the building would never have ‘too much luck’. There are many
other stories like this which we hope to retell over time in this ‘new’ Pins – minus the curse.(fingers crossed)!
Today’s clientele is a mixture of chatty locals who have come here for generations,
business people, sightseers, tourists and ‘personalities’ – all friends who have not yet met.
Our goal is to bring you good food, good drink, good craic and good trad. and jazz.
Please do give us your feedback on everything as we do value it.
