The Twelve continues their Wine Dinner Wine West Wednesdays at The Twelve - A wine appreciation society with a difference

With their usual panache and flair, The Twelve, the boutique beauty in Bearna, introduces a whole new kind of wine appreciation society – WWW @ The Twelve. Unpretentious, easy to access and a novel way to learn about new wines, Wine West Wednesdays at The Twelve are relaxed and informal wine-focused get-togethers taking place every Wednesday from 6.30pm to 9pm in the acclaimed Upstairs at West.

Designed for those in the industry – waiters, chefs, bar staff – but also perfect for foodies and those into their wine, a Wine West Wednesday at The Twelve is a clubby night with food and music, where the usual menu is available, but there are also some sharing platters and tapas specials especially designed to enjoy for the night that’s in it.

Guests are invited to bring their own wine to drink, share and talk about, and general manager and sommelier of The Twelve, the man responsible for all The Twelve’s terrific and award-winning wine lists, Fergus and Fergal will be around to chat, comment and steer people in new directions, with picks from The Twelve’s own interesting, appealing and user-friendly wine collection.

 

Essential, exciting and eclectic, the approach to wine at The Twelve continues to be awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year. From silent disco wine tastings to jazz-accompanied wine dinners, pop up restaurants at music festivals, hand-picked and personally imported Italian boutique wines to the most enthusiastic red-headed sommelier in the country, wine isn’t just for drinking at The Twelve – it’s an all-consuming passion!
