West at The Twelve provides delicious festival food to the GalwayArts Festival’s Big Top
The Twelve hasn’t been around quite so long as The Galway Arts Festival but has made a massiveimpact in its first 9 years, particularly for lovers of fine, local andseasonal food, with West at The Twelve regularly winning awards for itsgreattake on the best of the region. West at The Twelve never stands still – literally – last year they popped up allover Ireland and held a hugely successful pop-up restaurant at the Galway ArtsFestival, and now they are popping up again, with great festival food at GalwayArts Festival’s Big Top – it’s a big top pop-up!
Between July 15th until 23th July, there are great gigs on in theGalway Big Top, and they are harmonised perfectly with the rocking food fromThe Twelve. Galway’s biggest restaurant ever will be the Big Top with performancesfrom terrific acts like Elvis Costello, Bell x1, Suede, Imelda May and The Gloaming.Food from The Twelve Pop-Up at the Big Top lives up to those high standards, withoptions including Diggity Dogs - gourmet dogs featuring JamesMcGeough’s turf smoked Connemara sausage, homemade gourmet burgers onWaterford bla, local mackerel, pulled pork, the famous chick pea curry and greatdesserts and sweets.
