A Fringe festival around Galway's Food on The Edge which celebrates wine, but not just any wine.This year Wine on The Fringe will be hosted by Wines of Spain and feature the wonderful region of Ribera del Duero.

  Wines from Spain is the overall brand designed to inform consumersabout quality Spanish wines, and together with wineries from Ribera delDuero they are hosting The Twelve's fringe event dedicated to wine onSunday October 23rd in West Restaurant at The Twelve. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a number of of theseoutstanding red wines paired with wonderful food in the usual unique andexpert manner by the chefs and sommeliers of The Twelve.

 The menu will consist of Roast Pumpkin Soup with Chorizo Oil, SpicedSeeds and Sheep Yoghurt. Marty's Killary Harbour Rope Mussels will becombined with Surf Clams and Seaweed Scones. The piece de resistancewill be a Castlemine Farm Leg of Lamb cooked on the open BBQ i.e. TheBig Green Egg. It will have been marinated in the finest Ribera delDuero for three days prior. There will also be greens from Uncle Matt'sFarm in Moycullen and some Spanish cheese to complete.

 Tickets are priced at €55 per person to include a carefully crafteddinner BBQ to complement the wines, and are available to book directlyfrom The Twelve 

If you wish to stay the night at The Twelve, you can do so for €99 per person sharing inclusive of dinner, wines and bed and breakfast
