Celebrating a significant birthday this year, there’s nowhere better to experience a love of region and a love of season than in The Twelve, the quirky and individual Bearna boutique beauty just outside Galway that has flown its own flag with style and passion since opening twelve years ago.
Join one of the birthday year’s biggest parties on Sunday October 6th for TwelveFest at The Twelve, where the big day out starts at 1 p.m. and includes a unique Westronomy marketplace, showcasing Galway’s artisan producers in a pop-up market with local growers, producers, brewers and distillers sharing and tasting their wares.
Actor,presenter and Masterchef finalist chef Simon Delaney cooks up a feast with West at The Twelve’s own chef Martin O’Donnell, including delicious Connemara mountain lamb with complimentary tastes for all guests, and there are wine talks and tastings and cocktail making demos led by The Twelve’s inimitable General Manager and expert sommelier Fergus O’Halloran and The Pins’ resident mixologist Simon King.
With live music from Dead Litter Devils,, face painting, games, a craft fair with handmade goods, plus a barbecue including a s’mores station for the little ones, this is a family afternoon of food and flavour, and a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon browsing through the best the region has to offer.
